On the morning of the 23rd, the X8022 train, loaded with 100 TEUs of export goods, set off from the China-Kazakhstan (Lianyungang) logistics cooperation base, honking its whistle, and rushed to Moscow, the capital of Russia. This marked the first launch of the Lianyungang-Moscow China-Europe train. This line is the second new China-Europe railway line opened this year after the Lianyungang-Poland China-Europe railway line was opened this year.
According to China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the train carrying small commodities such as tires, lamps, shoe soles, sockets and so on produced in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai regions will leave the country through the Erlianhot port and is expected to arrive at Volsino Station in Moscow, Russia in 20 days.
"The opening of this line has further enriched the operation of Lianyungang China-Europe trains and improved the overall capacity of the trains. It is of great significance for the creation of more Lianyungang boutique trains." Production Operations Department of Lianyungang China-Kazakhstan International Logistics Co., Ltd. Manager Chen Jun said that with the support of new channels and new businesses, Lianyungang China-Europe Express has gradually shifted from the initial market-oriented cultivation and promotion stage to a high-quality development operation track.
According to relevant persons in the railway department, the opening of the Lianyungang-Moscow China-Europe Express Line has established another brand new international logistics channel between Lianyungang and various parts of Europe, for the export of "Made in China" such as small commodities and home appliances, as well as wood and cotton yarn. Imports of "European products" provide more convenient transportation conditions and help promote the continuous deepening of Sino-Russian economic and trade exchanges.
The China-Kazakhstan (Lianyungang) logistics cooperation base was completed in 2014. Since the beginning of this year, the base has steadily opened point-to-point direct trains to Almaty and Tashkent, shared trains to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, etc., and newly opened transit transportation routes to Poland, achieving a contrarian growth in the number of trains.
